a little over per month ago, I had unprotected sex with a female who about 2 weeks later was diagnosed as having HSV2. I still have not presented with any of the obvious symptoms such as warts or bumps on my penis, but I've experienced an on-again off-again burning sense just in of the point of my penis. Most of the time I'd say it's simply irritating, though for a day or two about a week ago it did move up to what I'd call painful. I visited the doctor on the second "painful" day and he ran blood tests for herpes, chlamydia and gonorrhea, all which came back negative, and he also did a urine analysis, which came back clean. after seeing my doctor, over the holiday weekend, I pulled the point of my penis apart and looked in (it hadn't happened to me to do this prior for some reason) and saw what looked like might've been a cold sore sort wound about 1/4 of an inch in. I couldn't actually get a very good look at it, but it appeared grayish. the area immediately around it didn't seem to be any more crimson than the nearby skin. I 'd really assumed it'd healed up and was going away because over the past weekend, it did not disturb me at all, but then abruptly today the burning sensation has come back again (to irritating degree, not debilitating). I haven't had any sexual activity since october 30, which was when I slept with the girl that turned out to have herpes.
I had the 6 month Joined HSV 1/2 IgG, no antibodies detected. I know the test is not as exact or doesn't kind, but having a type unique test at 15 weeks and this at 6 months pretty much assures me its not HSV....................................and guess what........I ceased thinking about it.......symptoms began to gradually disapear. No more examining myself 20 times a day. The head can be a powerful thing. For a few of us anxiety or stress syptoms can mimic virtually anything and the list is looooong.

I've only read this whole thread and and 100% similar to you all. I however have been whining about these symptoms for around 4 years. They have been on and off. At first I tested positive for Ureaplasma a bacteria that caused the painful sting at the point of the urethrea. A round of antibiotics after and the pain was subdued, certainly not what it was (It was horrible, I couldn't sleep at all etc etc) but still have a waning and waxing of biting at the suggestion for a month or two here and there. I analyzed in this time 5 times - negative for everything every time. It appeared that when I had long lasting relationships it went away the most practically entirely, when I wasn't in those relationships and had casual sexual encounters it'd come back for a while. My doctors (4) all said it was in my head also and like you all it seems IMPOSSIBLE - its too distressing to be fake. But I also believe in my physicians and science as well as believe now that it might be CPPS or prostititis. I don't have bacteria or a disorder - I know that from extensive evaluations I only could never find out what this coming and going of pain was. I understand it come during extremely extreme times of or stressful sexual encounters and stress, and or only the mental f up from the first time I actually had something.
Ive been positive for ureaplasma urealyticum 3 times over the past 4 years. This was the original origin of the debilitating tip of the penis. I was treated with doxycyclene, and had a negative culture after treatment even thought I still believed it (though at about 1/3 or less intensity - it was excruciating when I was really infected.) Anyway, it took about 3 - 4 months till the sting burn went away - I 'd 5 repeat cultures done for ureaplasma, clamidia etc to make certain since the urologist could not describe my ongoing pain - all cultures came back negative. Urologist said it was likely in my head or something called reiters syndrome.
Because I truly really did not have anything anyway, I never told my partners - my urologist said I was fully std free despite my symptoms. From having an actual bacterial disease, he attempted to split my symptoms. Gilbert, LA std test. He considered I was experiencing symptoms but also believed I had no testable or active ailment of any sort. To back up this theory 4 partners both short and long term never got anything, and believe me - they would have. I was tested negative for everything 5 times so I felt it was ethical to do this with long term relationships. I told them I had nothing - it was accurate - they got nothing - but I continued to have unpredictable stinging in the tip. I should say here that the more comfortable I got with a woman the more sex I 'd the more relaxed I got that it was accurate and and I wasn't giving her anything. And I got increasingly better. It all seems ridiculous.
So about 2.5 years in I 'd drunk sex with someone and the symptoms returned in a big way. I was positive and recaptured again with ureaplasma. Like the very first time that I felt the serious stinging by about mid day. Quite intense - close to unbearable - squirming. Unable to concentrate on anything but the burn. Was given more antibiotics - symptoms subsided to cultures - more about 1/3 and despite ongoing symptoms. I admit the symptoms are considerably worse when I 've ureaplasma cultures that are positive.
So anyway, after 4 years becoming infected with ureaplasma a few times like an idiot (thought my urologist says its simple to heal just take a choice of antibiotics for 1-3 weeks and thats always killed it in every case in all his 30 years of exercise.) He did mention maybe it was checked my prostate on two occasions felt good - looked at fluid excreted from said examination under a microscope fine - assessed my pee a dozen times all great he said I'm fine. Gilbert LA std test. But I feel the foul burn still - 4 years later.
Im really surprised this is not more understood since it feels sooooo bad. Im seeing him again tomorrow we are going to try to test an ejaculate sample - he says it may flush out the bacteria better than a cotton swab of the tip of my urethra (the manner we have been culturing) and perhaps we can discover a positive for ureaplasma while the swab gives negative. Im going to mention CPPS for the very first time and ask about it - also ask for some muscle relaxers and head pills to get me off this nonstop focusing on the sting. Std Test near Gilbert, LA. I have expect this is mental caused by an actual illness which frightened the pants off me and every sting digs on my head intensely leading to more stinging. Its a nasty chain. I am hoping I can break it - I don't want to live with this forever.
